Warhammer Fantasy Battle Reporter Forum

Well, it looks like I'm almost done with my Stegadon article. I have the main part written, I just have to go back and write a quick intro for it. Its a little over a page and a half right now, so I shouldnt have any trouble making it a full two pages. If we take the time to work some pictures in, it shouldnt be too hard to stretch it to 3 pages.

I've also asked BatPadre (A while back now) if he would be willing to enter his Pigmy army (A conversion army he created to be used in place of the Lizardmen models). He agreed to enter it, but he wants to work on it a little more first. Its already a rather substantial article. I expect it will be at least 8-10 pages when finished.

I'm still thiking about what to do for a Chaos Dwarf article. I've toyed with doing a article about their history, or even their connection to magic. But I think I'll end up doing a simple conversion article (Basic Chaos Dwarfs this time, Hobgoblins next issue?) Does anyone have any other ideas or think something else would be better?

I havent got a lot of work into the Red Goblin book yet. But I'm hoping to spend a little time going over that this weekend. Mostly I just want to flesh out the fluff on that one. Its currently 10 pages long, but when I'm finished, I'd expect it to be about 12 pages before any pictures we add.

All in all, not too bad when you figure I have till November/December to get everything finished!

I could add a book review for Fantasy - just finished Blood for the Blood God by Werner.

Just something to think about. Anyone who is doing something for the ezine who wants pictures, take the time to ask people on other forums. I've posted on several forums now asking people to post pictures for me to use with the understanding that I will give them an honorable mention (User name and forum the picture came from) I've received several very nice pictues for my Stegadon article this way and will hopefully receive a few more before I have to submit it. I've also posted a request in the painting section of this forum asking for people's pictures of Stegadons. Anyone who has one can either post pictures there or PM me with their pics. To be honest, it looks like the only models I'll have much problem getting pictures of will be the two Lord choices, so I'm expecially interested in getting some pictures of those.

Hows everyone coming along? Has anyone started working on their respective projects yet?

I'm pretty close to done with my Stegadon article, I'll look at it again in a week or two and revise it a little bit again before I submit it.

I've started putting a little work into the Red Goblin army book again. Mostly I just need to work on the fluff to flesh things out a bit.

I've decided to do a small conversion article for the Chaos Dwarfs. I'm probably going to start with a Hobgoblin since thats going to be a really easy one. If I have enough time vefore we release the first issue, I'll put together some instructions for converting Chaos Dwarfs as well.

If anyone has article ideas or just wants feedback on their own projects, feel free to PM me.

I'm hoping to start work on my book review this week. I was planning on adding it to my blog as well, will this be a problem?

I'm thinking of doing some form of either fanfic,or something involving stating a 40K or Fantasy army.

Sounds like you have a couple of good ideas. I'd be particularly interested in seeing the "Starting a Warhammer Fantasy Army" article.

We could work on some conversions for the Knightly Orders too. Just a simple step by step for how to create the models for the different orders.

I could give a run down of the different play styles for the individual Chaos Gods for Fantasy Daemons?

I'm currently working on one or two articles,one a fanfic about my DIY Marine Chapter and another about starting Warhammer.

Guys, Is anyone interested in picking up the eZine project and becoming the editor on behalf of the forum ?

I'm not sure where I'll find the time although I'd be happy to contribute content.

If I wasn't already working on 2 ezines (Gold and Glory and The Doom Seeker) and an Army Book (Dogs of War) I might of considered it.

Of course that is why I suggested originally for people here to submit to The Doom Seeker, hoping to get more content for it.

I agree Sock would be good at doing it. Guardian also would be good but he hasn't offered....

At the moment, I'm working on several little projects for the ezine. So I dont know how much help I would be with organizing and editing the whole thing. But Son of Khaine should know by now, that I'm always here if he needs a co-conspiritor or partner in crime.
