I'm telling you, this one will definately be better than the grubby orc one. Ok, simple rules, just post your build of a Dwarf Lord. I will turn it into a poll (which will be better than the disgusting O&G one) and winners will get rep. When we get enough people, than I will make a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize. Now, make me proud and have more entries than the Orc one! GO!

P.S. Hey Sigmar, I still can't sticky things. PM me if anything has changed on the subject.

EDIT: Remembered Sigmar doesn't have a computer at this very moment... guess I have to wait a bit.

lol have to copy the O&G forum for your ideas, you have disgraced your clan, now shave your head and go orange my short little friend!!

Lord
Shieldbearers
Rune of Stone
Great Weapon
Master Rune of Great Weapons (kragg the grimm i think)
Rune of Fury (+1 attack)
Rune of Snorri Spanglehelm (+1 to hit)
Master Rune of Spite (4+ WS)
Rune of the Forge (immune to fire stuff)

301 pts, gets 2 attacks at WS5 Str4 and 5 attacks at WS7, str 6 and +1 to hit. Has a 1+ AS and 4+ ward save and immune to fire sniping. so basically hits enemy on 2's and wounds on 2's.

Ok, here's my epic Lord:

Lord
Shield and Handweapon (Hammer)
Master Rune of Gromril (Confers a +1 Armour save)
Master Rune of Smiting (Causes D6 Wounds)
Rune of Luck (Reroll any single hit roll, wound roll, armour save roll, or ward save roll.)

So, in my very specialized Dwarf army, this guy is basicly a Multiple wound monster/other stuff killer. When I get more money, I plan on making a Lord on Shieldbearers that I plan to actually have stay alive.

Powner for my shieldbears i purchased a dwarf on a bear mount from some random store and rebased him. His base is still too large but i let my opponent know this and they dont care. So he is my lord on his shield"bear"er lol

My standard Tournament build for my Lord is

Lord
w. Shield, Shieldbearers, RO Resistance, RO Stone, RO Cleaving, MR Swiftness, RO Might, RO Warding, RO Furnace

Gives him a 1+ rerollable AS, MR 1, immunity to flaming attacks, and 4 attacks @ WS7 striking at S5 vs. T4 or lower opponents and S10 vs. T5 or higher opponents, and he always strikes first. Despite the range of Runic items he still comes in very cheap for a Lord, and doesn't fit into the uber-defensive just won't die category, i.e., no RO Steel or MR Spite.

My lord before I based him (pic's a few months old now)
