Since I've been looking for information about different Special Characters for Ogre Kingdoms and I came across this information, I thought I would share it in a format that would be easier for everyone to use.

Also, I would like to do a custom of this model, but I'll get into that more at a later time.

Enjoy!

Braugh Slavelord

Known to the Chaos Dwarfs as Ghrash Dragh, literally ‘Corpse-slaver’. Braugh Slavelord is a legend even amongst his own merciless peers. Ogre slavers are a common enough sight in the far corners of the world, but only one amongst them can claim to enslave his prey in death as well as life.

Braugh Slavelord Points 445
M 6, WS 6, BS 3, S 6, T 5, W 5, I 3, A 5, Ld 9
Slave
M 4, WS 2, BS 2, S 3, T 3, W 1, I 2, A 1, Ld 6

Weapons: Slave-Binder chains
Armour: The Great Bullplate

Special Rules:
Soul-binder Chains: Those chains twist and writhe with necromantic magic, flailing out and entangling those who seek to harm Braugh whilst he throttoles them to death.
The Soul-binder chains count as paired magical hand weapons, granting Braugh an extra attack. They count as magical. At the beginning of each combat phase, Braugh man nominate an enemy model in base contact. That model looses D3 attacks for that phase.
Stubborn
Fear
Slavelord:
Braugh is surrounded by those who he has enslaved, many still attached to him by the chains he took from the necromancer’s dungeon. Braugh begins the game with 12 slaves, these must form up with Braugh placed in the center of the unit. This acts as a normal unit but with the exceptions listed below. Extra slaves can be purchased at +2 points per model. These can be represended by virtually any humanoid model that can be mounted on a 20mm base, although Braugh is invariably accompanied by a zombie or two. Such is the unique magic surrounding Braugh that these undead do not follow the usual rules for undead, but instead act as normal. Braugh benefits from a Look Out Sir! Roll as long as there are 5 or more slaves in his unit. He man not voluntarily leave the unit under any circumstances.
The Great Bullplate: Braugh Slavelord’s gut plate is chained directly into his flesh. Bearing the skull of a sacred cave beast and enchanted by the Slaughtermaster of Braugh’s former tribe, this artifact bestows speed and ferocity to those around it.
The Great Bullplate enables Braugh and his minions to charge 12” instead of the 8” usually allowed by a Movement of 4 Despite not being in a unit of three or more Ogres. Braugh may still make a Bull Charge at the other criteria are met.

the only thing that i find off is his strength of 6, ogre lors only have str 5 and they dont give a reason why his is higher, and since he is a magic type i would think it would be equal or less than 5. But looks fun beyond that.

I love him, nice find Guardian.

5 (+1) str 6 attacks and stubborn with a leadership of 9... he should be able to deal out quite a bit of pain muahaha

I'm not sure about this though...

"That model looses D3 attacks for that phase"

There does not seem to be any "get out" clause for the enemy. If thee isn't a get out clause then there is usually some kind of penalty for having such an ability. Being able to nominate any model in base contact and reduce them by up an average of 2 attacks and up to 3 attacks is a pretty hefty bonus.

Nice find, I had never seen this guy before.

From what I could find about him, there were only 300 of the model ever made. When I looked on ebay for him, I saw one copy and it was going for about $650. In other words, I'm making plans for a custom, . . .

No, I wont be buying it at that price.

I actually have another Ogre Battalion and 8 extra bodies coming, so I figure that one of the extra bodies will be used to make my Braugh Slavelord model with. I've also picked out a couple of bitz from both my Empire Flagellants and from my Giant to use when making him. Add some a couple of short segments of a cheap chain necklace and a few zombies and I should be set. All things considered, I think I can build him for under $10.

$3.75 Ogre Body (Set of 4 for $15 through "Hoard o Bitz" on ebay)
$1.99 Chain Necklace
Free 10 X Flagellant bodies & bitz (Extras from my Empire army)
Free 2 X Zombies (Extras from my Vampire Counts army)
Free Giant Bitz

Total cost to build my own: $5.74

That shouldnt be a problem! I expect to get my new Battalion mid to late this coming week, so hopefully I'll be able to start building some of the models next weekend. I'll try to get some new pics up once I'm done with them. I'm in the process of putting together Skrag, Greasus and four Gorgers this afternoon. I'm hoping to finish those tonight.

I have a lot more Gnoblars than I have a use for. Is anyone interested in taking them off my hands? I'd be willing to trade them to anyone who can use them.

My Battalion box arrived yesterday, so hopefully I'll have something to show you all in the next few days!
