I doubt you will have to try being funny, just the nature of the character should create all kinds of amusing situations. Lets face it, a short green guy that dosnt like sunlight, carrying a set of bagpipes and an obsession for learning and etiquette. Thats just going to be fun.

Backstory
Uthred served in the Emperors army for ten years. He thought in bloody campaigns against orc's, chaos and sometimes even his fellow humans. He had been made a veteran through it, and he was sometimes suprised that he had survived so long when many of his comrades had died.

It was when he and his company were serving up near Middenheim. They were ambushed by a warband of beastmen, whilist out on a patrol. Like the skilled professionals they were they formed up leveld their Halberds and gave them hell! Their numbers were to great though and after a time, and with many beastmen lying dead, their formation was broken. they didn't flee but fought to the last man. He was that last man.

The beastmen surronded him. Uthred was almost to wery to raise his blood smoothed halberd, but with a final effort he roared a challenge and charged. As this happened, a convey of traveling knights with a priest of Sigmar arrived, and cut down the remaining beastmen.

After months of recovery Uthred became well again. During this time the Priest told him of how Sigmar had saved him. Uthred believed and commited himself to Sigmar. The Priest told him he must go out and serve as Sigmar willed him.

So he left and began his travels of the Empire and beyond, a devote warrior of Sigmar.

Description

Uthred stands as tall as an average human. He has short cropped brown hair, with a clean shaven face. His face and body are scared from his travels. He has brown eyes. He wears the worn tunic trousers and boots of an old soilder. His helmet and breastplate are well maintained with an emblem of Sigmar carved on each. Around his neck he wears a circlur emblem of Sigmar on a thick iron chain. His halberd is a regular army design, the handle worn smooth by years of use, the blade chipped and scarred.

I agree, Roulette is a good place to start. Its open enough that you can do whatever you want for a while without having to become part of the story at large if you dont want to. That way you will have time to get comfortable with your character before getting swept up in a major storyline.

If you need a little help getting started, look at the second post in the thread, it has a little lead in for characters just entering the city for the first time.

galeac,

Vampires are powerful characters. However they are more difficult to play than most other kinds of character. As a reault I have two things I would like to mention. The first is a small adjustment to the character, the second is a small warning to help the character be more successful during play.

1. You have four special rules on the character. The character creation rules allow you to take up to 3. You dont have any gear listed for the character either. Take a couple of minutes to address those issues. Keep in mind that you will be able to buy whichever special rule you drop when you get a little experience.

2. Keep in mind that a Vampire character is going to be hard to play. Roulette may be very tollerant of different races, but the City Guard takes dissapearances/murders very seriously. Also, realize that there are other vampires in Roulette that may prove a little territorial.

Other than that the character looks good. He should make a very interesting addition to the storyline!

@Guardian Vincent going for Boxing(better without weapons and no I added it awhile ago :D )

@galeac Also a Vampire probably won't fit in well with the other character well if your thinking of that,I don't think you would be allowed to help with the whole Sigmar's temple and such although I like the sound of other Vampire in the streets  .
