I thought I would start this thread to get a little feedback on the Roulette storyline.

Feel free to post your thoughts and comments for how the game is progressing. What do you like? What do you hate? All feedback both good and bad is welcome so long as its constructive!

If any characters were killed, what would happen? Say Wilfrid or Jade died in the upcoming defense of the temple, could the players replace them? Also, one character vs another, would they be allowed to kill the other? I believe that we should have a rule in which characters can only die if the player gives consent, and even the contingency plan of replacing the character with another so the player may remain in the game

Guardian just so you know my answer to this question would be something along the lines of "you die when I say you die Maggot."

I think your is something about continuing the story for the good of all players.

On topic yes we need a contingency plan if you have any ideas please post them here.

To answer the dead character question. I think Son of Khaine summs it up nicely.

On a more serious note, rolling dice is not very practical in this kind of game, as a reault I choose to focus on the story and use the characters stats as a guideline for what they are able to do or not do. I can only think of three reasons I would kill a character: 1. If it contributed something important to the story (I'd probably PM the player before doing this.) 2. If the character does something INCREDIBLY stupid. 3. If the player is causing trouble, either by constantly ruining the fun for other players, or by going out of their way to derail the storyline.

As for NPC's (Non-Player Characters) like Jade Rose, or Dagon Raan, they are my characters and will live or die whenever or however I see fit.

If for any reason you want to "Retire" a character so you can start a new one, by all means, PM me and we can discuss how best to do it.

1.Holy sh't Dagon's a vampire,should have expected that one.
2.Do you think Darrin could hide aboard the ship?

1. I'm honestly surprised no one picked up on that sooner! Just look at all the little 'Slightly off' things he has done. I'm starting to think I'm not playing him quite right, if I was, then players would be slightly twitchy just being around him.

2. You never know until you try. Its a big ship.

I figured no ones has seen Dagon yet so could be interesting and we could go to Tilea,your choice really I'll go both ways.

And I think Dagons being played right I might have been slow picking up on the whole Vampire tear my throat out drink my blood and and drop me like a sack of spuds........very dry spuds

I' thinking if it suits you three(Guardian,Gresh And Geleac) If Gresh stops a fight between Darrin and everyone else .
And then Darrin and Gresh go deal with the dwarfs,not sure about the ship though

I'm wondering. We are getting a TON of hits on the Roulette thread, but no where near as many posts. So, who is following the story but not playing?
