Whu are they?

They are one of the orginal 20 Legions. Being Legion I, there Primarch is Lion El' Jonson. During the Horus Heresy half the chapter fell to Chaos. So you can play either Loyalist or The Fallen depending on your taste. Dark Angels are a dark green color, while the Fallen Angels are the orginal chapter color of black. They have two specialist formations. Deathwing which is all Terminator or Ravenwing which is all Bikes and Speeders. They have 3 successor chapters, The Angels of Absolution, Angels of Redemption, and Angels of Vengeance. They have a secret war hunting down and killing the Fallen Angels so they can hide the shame that some of there Chapter fell during the Heresy.

Black Templars are a Second Founding chapter based off the Imperial Fists. They are a crusading chapter and spend their entire time in space rather than having a homeworld of their own.

the dark angels have a few 2nd founding chapters with angel names ( i think ones like Angels of Absolution).
These chapters also hunt the "fallen".
Dark Angels, like about 17 other 40K factions, would happily kill the entire population to kill 1 of their chosen enemy (its pretty much how 40k works)
