Ok so I planning to restart may 40k expiries. Aim planning to do grey knights, but I don’t have any idea on how much of those should I have and how should I play them on the field.

You'll struggle with anti-tank and long ranged firepower so mobility will be key. Although you can get around this slightly by using inducted Imperial Guard.

Well Grey Knights are not really the best army for a beginner, but we will be glad to help you.

Here's a useful tactica and discussion about it on how to use them: bolterandchainsword.com/index.php?showtopic=101214

When I find some more links I'LL post them up for you.

Good idea :) ,I'm not a DH (Demon Hunter) player but I am starting a Space Marine army and Anxious is starting an Eldar army,so we should be able tp support each other somehow.

You might want to hold off a bit on getting Grey Knights. The rumors of them getting an all plastic box is getting more frequent and coming from some fairly reputable sources. So get your Big Toys first.

Daemon Hunters do not get Drop Pods. They have a Teleport attack that makes them a Fast Attack option.

They really need a serious update. At least a pdf explaining what units they can now take as allies.

Dark Eldar are DEADLY if the player knows what he is doing, if he is a novice then chances are you are going to wipe the floor with him. If it's a Raider rush army (lots of transports) then shoot them down, they are paper thing but very fast.

Also don't expect your vehicles to last long as I imagine there'll be some Dark Lances in there to eat your tanks up.
