Skink Chief w/War-Spear: I wanted to do something a little different with my War-Spear on my Stegadon. Since its supposed to add impact hits, I wanted it to reach the ground. I placed this model on my one built Stegadon to see how it looks, the spear rests about an inch off the ground and about 2-3 inches in front of the stegadon base. All-in-all I'm pretty happy with the result.

Guardian, that is one heck of a long spear, I love it ! It's always nice to see some custom conversions that have been weel thought out. Nice one Guardian.

I recently purchased an Empire army from someone who was getting out of the hobby. He didnt have a lot of models painted (Just a small group he used as a Morhdiem Warband), but I thought I would post them anyway.

I recently bought another collection off of ebay. This one included mostly Orcs & Goblins stuff, but there was quite a bit of Empire as well. I did NOT paint any of these, all I've got around to doing at this point isinventory what all I got. I'll probably end up repainting almost all of it in the long run, but I thought I would share what I got with everyone. The best part is that all of this only cost about $100. There are a TON of extra bitz and bases not pictured. Lots of metal!

If you don't mind the outdated models, and the horrible task of stripping the painted models, then that's a great deal!

To be honest, I kind of like some of the older models, expecially the different command groups. Its a great way to create some visual veriety between different units.

One thing I was pretty happy with, is that almost all of the painted models have a too thin layer of paint on them, so I think I'll get away with just re-primering them and painting them again. A lot of the O&G stuff only had the green painted on them, so I might just get away with starting on them where he left off. I mostly bidded on the lot for the Orc Arrer Boyz and the Snotlings (I paid less for the whole lot than it would have costed to just buy the Arrer Boyz new.) Funny thing is, the guy said he had "A little Empire stuff" that he was throwing in to get rid of, so everything from the Empire army wasnt even listed with the auction.

This is a model I'm entering in this forums Painting compitetion. Its a plastic Skink model that I converted into a Chamelion Skink (Oxyotl, a character from the Lizardmen book). This was my first experience with Green Stuff as well as my first experience with trying to layer colors.

Nice one Guardian. However, I'm afraid that skinks are fast becoming my arch enemies after another beating my Nauticans took last weekend :(

I'll post this pic on the forum slideshow at the same time as the others that are entered into the painting competition.

I thought I'd share a couple of WIP pics with everyone since I havent updated here in quite a while.

Here is my Ogre Kingdoms army so far. I still have three regiments of Gnoblars and two regiments of Gnoblar Trappers to build. Hopefully I'll find the time to start painting them soon.

Back Row: (Left to Right) Butcher, Tyrant, Hunter
2nd Row: Bulls w/Ironfists, Bulls w/additional Hand Weapon
3rd Row: Ironguts, Maneaters, Ironguts
Front Row: Leadbelchers, Leadbelchers, Leadbelchers

And here is a pic of my Steam Tanks. Also pictured is the three Engineers I made with the bodies. I've named the small one "Bonapart" after the little tank in the old anime series "Tank Police."
