Hey Steve, welcome into our friendly little community.

I'd love to see some of your army, check out our painting thread and get some minis posted up there. I'll pop them on the forum slideshow.

You sound like you've got lots fo Warhammer history so I'm looking forward to finding out more.

All the best,
Sigmar

Hi!

I'm Gabriel, and I live in Québec. French is my first language, but my English is fairly good too. I joined this board after seeing an advertisement at the Arena of Rezephua, another Warhammer forum I go to.

I have a Bret army, but I haven't played for years. I'm still part of the online Warhammer community, though.

If I started playing again, I'd go with either Dark Elves or Lizardmen.

thanks... i started playing about 12 yrs ago so i got i would say a med lvl of experiance. but im a heavy colector and painter so my colection grew pretty fast... more so in between wives..lol now that i got ride of wife number two ive been steam in along on the collection train... and now have a huge skaven army that ive been painting.. all though summer dose slow it down some... especualy now that i have a new JET SKI!!! whooo hoooooo!!!...lol but i did paint 20 plauge minks, 4 rat ogers, 7 pack masters and 18 giant rats this week end.. so i would have to say that my skill if any is to really pump out modles and get them ready for play...
is anyone in the watertown ny/fort drum area? im looking for a core group that can mabey dedicate some time to a mapp campaigne in the boarder lands?

Hi stevenhassell, now you're a free man again it sounds like you're pumping those models out at break neck speed. Those wives certainly get in the way sometimes ;)

Good to have you onboard,
Sigmar

Hi ya all,

Another dwarf here ready and willing to impart his hard earned knowledge provided the liqour be strong.

been playing warhammer and various other GW games for close to 15years now, however due to money problems I've not collected anywhere as much as I wanted to.

Have a 3000pt dwarf army, 3x collections of brettonians from the old 5th editon boxed set, just recently tried to collect VC but found that they played too much like my dwarfs without the shooting.

so am hunting for a new army and am looking eagerly towards the beastmen, I'm a huge fan of norse and germanic history (hence the dwarfs) so I'm hoping that the beasts turn out good.

ummm that's about all I can think of, my throat be a bit parched at the moment

Cheers
Thordoc

Hey Thordoc, good to have you in.

When I get back to Castle Von Sigmar I'll send you the latest forum newsletter - the foul Empirish Dictatorship at the Altdorf office where I work have shot the old messengers - ie. they've banned gmail :(

PS. Feel free to make yourself at home but you'll have to pay the gobbos if you want to use them as foot rests.
PPS. The vamps run a good barber's shop if you're in need of a "close shave" ;)

Hi all,

Just joined. Like the look of the place and hope to be a regular. :)

I am an Orc and Goblin player and have been playing for about 2 years now. Looking to get into the tournament scene in the UK and will hopefully be at this year's GT.

Right. Time to start reading the many threads.

Cheers.
