 Post subject: non permanent modeling question

i am looking for a non permanent way of putting together a model so i can get it on the table fast but still be able to take it apart to paint later.

Blue tack maybe,I'd just use a small amount of glue and gently break it apart one your done.

I usally fall into this problem,so I've figured out ways to undo it.

some carefull applying of magnets might do the trick?

Try using School Glue on the plastic models, that should hold them for a game or two, but they should come right apart when you are ready to do so.

How so? A lot of (mostly 40K) players use tiny magnets in joints at arms to be able to swap weapons etc on single models!

Yep I'm thinking of doing this in the near future on some Space Marines.

thanks for the info guys! i really like the magnet trick but i think i will be going the the poster tack (being the cheapest and fastest) first. i will let you guys know how it goes.

well poster tack work but looks like cr@p but a hot glue gun worked even better. lol i will post back up saying how long they hold together

hot glue has been holding very very well! the best part is that it all comes off np at all.
