:D Thanks dims. I just took more time with these than usual. After all we did have a couple of months and like yourself I finished a little while ago but wanted to wait until I got back from holidays. I enjoyed the time spent and had to stop myself from rushing at times although near the end of the pestigors I was about done in. :)

All so very cool great work guys

As for my own entry it hasn't even been looked at since I posted it too busy with other stuff, so chances are it won't get finished *sigh*

I know the feeling. I'm only about half done with both of my entries. I figure I'll see how much more I can get done between now and the cut off date then enter mine as-is.

Rather late with these and my camera is having problems but here are my Valkyrie and IG squad mostly finished. The pictures for the most part are just horrible, but can't really do anything about that until a new camera is purchased.

I edited this to hopefully get the pictures to show instead of the links.

Guys, we don't really have enough entries here to constitue a competition. Would we get a few more if we extended the deadline for a month or 6 weeks ?

I'm thinkin 14th September, although I don't want to upset people who got their entries in on time (I could award them all +1 karma as "compensation")

How does that sound ?

Sounds good to me. I know it would greatly improve my chances of finishing the models I've been working on.

It's ok by me as well. But I am dissapointed only three members were able to complete there entry's on time, especialy when we were given plenty of time to do them.

Its currently winter at the moment in NZ and it decreases my motivation to do things. Also I have been dealing with a bit of sh't lately.
This extension will give me enough time to complete my model as he is about 3/4s done.

Oh btw, Awesome looking models!

Thanks Konrad. I wasn't trying to dis anyone as I know how busy people are ( I myself don't have a lot of time these days) I was just dissapointed in the numbers as I thought there would be more than 3. Hopefully this extension will help you and others get your entry's completed. I am looking forward to seeing the painted figs from all entered.

Ok guys, it's a done deal. The new deadline for posted painted entries in this thread is :-

14th September.

I'll award +1 karma to everyone who got their painting done in time and I apologise on behalf of myself and all of the rest of us who didn't.

Ok everyone, let's make our committed painters proud and get our entries in on time.

PS. For anyone interested in this competition who did not submit pictures of their unpainted miniatures you can join in anyway.

You will just need to post a pic of the unpainted miniature(s) here:-

Pics of unpainted models being entered into the September painting competition

[with a hand written note in the picture saying "Battle Reporter painting competition" so we know it's not a pic you found on the internet ! Not that anyone but a sneaky gobbo would stoop that low ;) ]
