Where have all our Daemon players gone ? Actually... do we have any ? I know teddyw has one but he's concentratign on his Ogres right now.

I'm suprised I have not met more daemon players! I hardly know any which is a surprise given that it's generally accepted that the army is the most powerful in Warhammer. Nobody seems to have a Daemon army - or admit to it ;)

I moved my Daemons army from Warhammer into 40K and switched over to Warriors of Chaos.

What has happened with Daemons as well it that they tend to be called out as being "cheesy" a lot of the time. Because they can be so powerful they have some stigma attached to playing them which can put players off.

I was flicking through the Daemon book again this morning - I have loads of the army books stacked up in my toilet :) for ease of reference !

You only have to look at the magic items section and thumb through the units very quickly before you come the the realisation that something is not quite right. I have thought this before with the Vampire army (which I own) but not to the same extent as I do with the Daemon army (which is uch more "in your face"). It is noticeably more powerful, especially considering that most battles are won or lost in combat and shooting and magic are just suplementary in many games and not usually anywhere near as decisive as the combat phase.

To balance things out, I decided quite some time ago to make the Nautican Army Hate all Daemons ;)
