Is Lokhir Fellheart too expensive? Your thoughts and comments.

Lokhir Fellheart 250 pts (very cool model)
Malus Darkblade 275 pts
Sorceress 100 pts or 135 pts (lv. 2) + 50 pts in magic items.
Master 80 pts + 50 pts in magic items

I have all three plus an old model on a cold one which could represent a Master. Just finishing units in my army to total close to 1500pts just wondering who to paint first? And curious on what fellow dark elf players would do?

To save points, my first pick would be just a Master, he has a wide option of really good wargear available to him so can be ready for any situation. If your running Black Guard in your army then I would suggest having Lokhir accompany them, though you might get some complaints about it being a very broken unit as just about anything Guard go up against they should break and hopefully overrun giving you the double victory points. Plus they'd cause Terror with him. Malus can be a fun option, but every time I've used him he's been less than worth it.

So if you want fun and fair, my suggestion is a Master. If you want to win, then Lokhir (only if he's with Guard, Corsairs just aren't good enough a good portion of the time)

I concur with Tizz, at that point level, go with just a Master.

Master on Cold One (if you have a unit of Knights) with lance and all the armour you can give him. Cheap, but he hits HARD!
