Well if we are going to extend this I will try and get some more entries in, this time actually Fantasy with a Unit of Empire Knights with Valtan along along with an Empire Helstorm Rocket Launcher Battery. This will give extra entries for folks to look at and give me some motivation to get these painted up.

I should have entered the Demon I painted for my hubby DOH
my son broke the corpse cart I was entering, it was mostly finished and after a few tears I kind of lost interest in gluing bits back on....
Here is the demon (I don't expect it to count as an entry as I dint post a before pic, but I did do it within time frame btw the base isnt finished yet)





I will dig up the pics of the partly painted cart, before being trashed. Hubby is using his computer atm and its the only one that connects to our camera.

Another Empire victim

Well, I've finished my Oxyotl model. Its a plastic Skink model that I converted into a Chamelion Skink. This was my first experience with Green Stuff as well as my first experience with trying to layer colors.

To see if we can squeeze a couple more entries out I am going to extend the competition for 1 month (apologies to everyone who got their's in on time). By way of compensation, anyone who has posted an entry already is allowed to post another entry in each category before 14th October.

I am also going to add a gold crowns incentive for everyone who has entered a model already or does to by 14th October. The incentive will be in the form of 25 gold crowns that can be spent on the forum warfare game or in the arcade for high score jackpots.

I have been discussing the painting comp with Dims and we think it's probably best to close off this competition. Apologies for the change of plan.

It's time to judge this one now.

It looks like we have about 10 entries. I will create a slideshow for ease of viewing and create a poll. We will put all of the entires in 1 category so it's a free vote.

All entries will receive 25 gold crowns.

The winners get:-

1st Prize 10 reputation (previously karma)
2nd Prize 6 reputation
3rd prize 3 reputation

A person can only receive 1 prize so if someone get's 1st and 3rd place they will only receive the reputation for 1st place and their 3rd placing will be ignored so the 4th placed person would receive the 3rd prize.

These are the rules we will stick to for the next painting competition and there will only be 1 category in future so all entries will go in the same category (until we get more people entering the competition to make it worth splitting it out into categories).

A new competition will begin immediately to close in 10 weeks time (ie 30th November).
