Dwarfs of Chaos Army Book released (free pdf)

I couldn't believe it when I checked out this new army book - it's unofficial but awesome. The Authors are pro writers, artists, gamers, designers etc and you can download it for free !

With Chaos Dwarves, Kislev, and Nauticans all making a strong appearence, the Warhammer world is getting much bigger. Maybe Cathay next?

Theres already a Cathay book out by the same guys who did the Chaos Dwarf one, few years old though but its not bad

So question on how to get someone to play against them. I was actually intrigued enough by the list to put together a 1K army. Unfortunately, one of my usual opponents thinks they are so broken he refuses to play against them.
I thought about going tit for tat and saying as long as teh Dark Elf army has Ring of hotek I would not play against them then...but we all know that would be pretty childish.

How would you go about convincing someone the CD are not broken, woefully undercosted, etc.?

Well, for starters, this is a pretty early version of the book, it seems there are a few things that are being reworked to make things work better.

If the cost issue is really what's bothering your friend, maybe you can allow him to take a few extra points to build his army. Then if you are defeated, you can argue that next time you should be allowed the same point value to build your army with.
