Here's the rules of this board,these will be enforced if broken extremely.

This is the most relaxed board on the forum,so the rules will be short and simple.

New topics & Post content

For new topics - we just want people to post quality posts which are informative, interesting, humorous or that will add to people's enjoyment of the forum. If you are replying to a post you can say what you like.

If you post something like a YouTube link you should give a summary of what is in the video and why you are posting it. It's not fair to send people to YouTube for a video they might not have any interest in watching.


Spelling & English only

Please check your spelling before you post.

Do not post in other languages because that means the reader will have to translate the post. The writer not the reader should translate the post.

"Double" posting
------------------
Please do not reply to your own posts unless you have an update that is genuinely adding to your first post. You can of course reply to other people's replies.Also remember the Edit button,if you have a minor addition to your post just edit it.

After these three rules anything goes that is appropriate for this board.

Slight oversight there,thanks Jacen I'll go fix that now.

Editing your original post isnt a bad idea when its only been an hour or so. But sometimes its nice to bump a thread with an update if its been a day or more.

For example, I bump my painting thread whenever I post new pics. Since its often days or even weeks between updates, this serves to bring the thread to everyone's attention again so they know there is new information and/or pics there.

True, I was thinking of the threads where it's mostly the sticky's that get posted in and threads like STEAM's Video thread stay at the top. But ya, in a higher traffic thread like the Miniatures Thread you'd be better off to do that.

Also a fair tip, if you ever NEED to double post it's always polite to say "Sorry for the double post" or something similar. Just some forum manners.
