my son's coming for a visit, but after he leaves I'll dig out the SM chapter I did for the Design a chapter/group contest GW did awhile back.....(ummm... basically you had to paint up a minimum unit of a force then create fluff for them, I don't know if it was just the GW in my city or world wide contest.... probably just a local though.)

I would buy them. But I don't think the nerds at GW have ever seen women so they might make horrid models .

She was done as a sculpt on coolminiornot. I don't remember who the sculptor was. If I can find the name I will send you a link. I always liked the model and kept the pic in my 40k file.

poo on women in combat. Have to make them str 3 tough 3 like sisters. sorry thats just hte way it is.

Women in power armour are the Sisters of Battle, all Space Marine chapters that we know about so far always recruit men, it may have something to do with the way Gene-seed interacts with the human physiology or just because GW had a bias when they started things up.

In all seriousness, there are no female space marines. There is a description in the Index Astrates I believe that states the geneseed does not take well with the female physiology. Been awhile since I looked that up.

Though a woman wearing Power Armour being Str 3 Toughness 3...Have you ever seen female body builders? While the Battle Sisters do wear Power Armour. I would rather see them make and model an army more in line with the Sisters of Silence.

Right, I should mention I don't play 40K, I have an old rule book... like two gens ago maybe. I only have a few models but thought it would be cool to do. all my info came from the 40K wiki and the GW old web site. but ya, I remember something about that... that's why I created the Triumvirate Node.... Muahahahaha and a new Primach.

Well, whilst nobody will stop you from making the female marines, I am sure that you cannot use them in any tourney, GW shops, or anythign as such.

But many people are consideringit too (Despite knowing that female marine is impossible due to incompatibility with gene seed)
