So I was wondering whether anyone out there has used this 100 point item in a game, and whether it was useful or an utter waste of points? In my last game I played, taking on the magic heavy Vampire Counts, the Null Stone might have really helped negate some of the items/weapons he had, especially the Vampire with his Blood Knights.

I'd really just like to use it to see a friend go "I've got this, this and this to pwn your character in combat!" Me: "Hah, no; Null Stone." Friend: "OHMYGOD!!!! WTFBBQ!!!!!!"

It nullifies all magic items within 6 inches of the bearer.

On the Scroll of Hoeth, I've used it twice, and its just been a waste of points in those games in all honesty.

Nullstone is funny but completely useless. I've thought about this: take a lord on dragon, give him the Null Stone, and have him fly in the middel of yout enemies units, especially near spellcasters. Bound for one or two rounds of NO magic. But would you sacifice a dragon for that?

I bet that thing is devastating against Dwarves.

Dwarf Player: Haha! All my characters are outfitted with the best runes!

High Elf Player: Oh Really? *Flys the Hero with nullstone near a combat*

Dwarf Player: Haha! My runes give me 1+ Wound, 1+ Attack, and confer a 1+ Armour save! Whatcha gunna do about that?

High Elf Player: A little something I call nullstone.

I simply love the Null Stone. I field it on my Lord, with a lance in a unit of 5 Dragon Princes. It is a sleeper unit. I figure a 2+AS and 4 S6 attacks is good enough and it turns the opponents characters into chumps. The Null Stone gets A+++ with me. Think about r/f units with magic weapons ie. WOC.
