DAMN! They are doing a pre order for Sartosan minatures. Another Undead!!! this is going too far out of hand rihgt now...

The GW has released 2 army in WHF in 5 months!!! This is outrageous! And they're (maybe) plannign to release another???

Ok, not counting Dogs, ther are 14 armies, that is alot! GW shoul concentrate on balancing out, making more story line, interests and minatures for existing armies. Just look at Bretonnian, all rigid, only single type tactics, and 3 core choices, 3!!!

Plus the new Daemons are cutting down undead army like crazy, and that alone is a good reason enough to work more on internal matters than start adding some out rageous new army.

Where did you find that out...As there isn't anything on the English GW site...

From what I understand those Sartosan models are simply just collectors models. I think it's highly unlikely that they'll create a whole new army when the others still need updates and there's still the long forgotten Chaos Dwarfs.

Actually an army of Zombie Pirates already exists!

In the Lustria Supplement there is a list of army lists for each race to represent different races fighting over there. Since pretty much everyone had to travel across the ocean to get there the lists are obviously sea-themed.

For the VCs the list is, my brother puts it, the "Zombie Pirates."

I'm not sure if that's there actual name or not but either way the list is pretty great! They have a crazy named vampire who leads them (he can't cast any spells but gives the army dispell dice like a dwarven army) and lots of guns and cannons and such. They also get zombie orges if they want!

The shooting works out that you only can hit on a 6 (no modifiers) but any roles of a 1 hit yourself!


Either way, I have no idea if these models are applying to that list or if this is something completely new, but I thought I'd share that little tid-bit of information.

Aha, thanks Scurrdi, you have finally answered my question. I wondered what these pirates were all about.

I will ask the local GW boys where I can get my hands on the Lustria supplement, I think I've seen it in the store actually.

I was hoping for a new army really, nevermind.

Anyways, I was already aware of "Zombie Pirates" (basically a VC stranded) is in the Lustria Expansion or whatchamma call it.

OH well, I seriously hope Sartosan don't get into an army....
