Is anyone planning to start collecting the new Dark Elves ?

I'm quite keen but I think I should wait really, I've only played one game with my new Vampire army !

The problem I have is I'm addicted to collecting miniatures - I'm even now addicted to gluing them together Smile

Also, the new figures do look great. So did the old ones but I was never sure I had what Iit took to win with a Dark Elf army, I suspect they are receiving s bit of a boost in their powers if other recent updates are anything to go by so they're very appealing to me.

I don't plan on collecting a Dark Elven army. One of my good Warhammer friends has a Dark Elf army and my brother also has a small Dark Elf force.

Plus I've always been a good guy player personally, so the evil has never quite tempted me.

Well I of course will not be starting, but adding on! With the new models I will be splitting my Dark Elf Force into two factions; The Raiding force filled with corsairs, cold one knights, hydras and combat characters. Then I Will have my "Temple of Khaine" force with crossbows, Executioners/Black Guard/Witch Elves, Cauldron, Bolt Throwers, and Sorceresses!

I personally think Cosairs are the best unit the dark elves have, especially cause they are core. Infantry-wise that is.

For some reason the Dark Elves seem to remind me of the Sith in Star Wars ?!

When I get bored of my Vamps and High Elves I'll probably dive into the world of Khaine. I think I'll skip Cahos Daemons for now.

The eternal hatred rule is very appealing. Ive always liked the looks of the dark elves and these new minitures just add more flavour. I'm sure my existing dark elf army will grow by another 1000 points or two.
