Has anyone used any DoW units in battles recently. In fact does anyone use them at all ?

The only army which I think would really benefit from their use is Dwarfs (for maneuverability) and maybe Lizardmen for ranged weaponry like Bronzino's cannons.

With 6th Edition Dark Elves i took Manflayers in my army at anything over 1500 points. They were pretty much my only reliable unit and never let me down, won me a few games to. Theyre fantastic models as well, thank goodness they make for very imposing Shades with 7th Ed!

I cannot recall the profile for Manhide's Manyflayers. Are they empowered with special abilities or a suped up elite profile ?

BS5 (menghil was BS6) armed with poison crossbows, poison hand weapons, and poison great weapons, skirmishers, a magic banner that makes them at another -1 to hit (-2 total) and for every unit they break in combat they gain 100 extra victory points.

They pretty much won me my games in 6th. Now I use them as shades.

They are a nasty unit, for sure. A little bit expensive, but their abilities are unmatched.

I will post more on this topic later. Good idea though Sigmar!
