Most of this stuff is already posted over there under the topic headed: "Military Order of the Katzbalgers (repainting project)."
Though, these free company detachments and some of the gunners I have not added yet- I'll put those on for ya right away (in that same forum thread I mentioned.)

These minis and the watrchtower are truly superb cartoonist. Great stuff and thanks for sharing.

I hope you don't mind (let me know if you do !) but I'd like to use the watchtower as the logo for the terrain and scenery thread.

I'll get the minis up on the forum slideshow too soon. I think I might need to cut the wide pics in half so it's easiesr to see the detail, otherwise they'll get reduced in size on the slideshow.

Thanks again for sharing, it's inspiring stuff !

Really wonderful painting you've accomplished! Whew you should be proud!

What's next on your to-do list, if I may ask? And any chance you'll turn to the dark side and paint up some Warriors of Chaos *winks* Would love to see your take on them!

A regiment of 20 halberdiers is next on the list. I'll do them when my new painting desk is finished.
And you reminded me that I do, indeed, have a few random Chaos figures sitting around. I reckon' I may have a go!

I could have sworn it was an old Citadel figure (late 1980s), but I can't get proof of that just yet- I think I remember seeing "Citadel" on the tab before I based him. I posted a miniature-identify question over at the miniatures page, so I'll get back to ya on that. But, here are the closeups- the shield is not GW- I replaced it with a Foundry viking shield.

Just got a reply; it's an old Marauder miniature (One of Games Workshop's licensees). In this link, look at the bottom middle of the catalog page. I also own the two knights pictured to the left of the figure in the pic, so I must have bought the blister back in the day.

Cool, thanks evilcartoonist.

I'm going to have to see if I can find that model.
the reason I asked was cause from the pic in the unit the model appears feminine, no offense.

More superb mini pics, I'll get them on the forum slideshow soon. Thanks for sharing them EC.

PS. I would put them on right now but it's late and I've just posted 11 of Furaito's so I'll let his pics bask in slideshow fame for a few days first.

No rush in getting these into the slideshow, Sigmar. I'm enjoying seeing everyone else's work, anyway!

Here's another figure that's going onto a display shelf rather than into my repainted army. BUT, I'm showing this figure in particular because this is one of my first Warhammer figures ever. My first Warhammer purchase consisted of a pack of 3 Reiksguard foot knights, a pack of 3 Tilean crossbowmen (including this one and the another already posted) and a pack of 3 greatswords.
Note: This is NOT the original paint job; I just finished repainting this fellow last night.
