Ehh I need to take a close look at the new rules, but in the previous army list they were so beneficial on the EotG's chart that they were almost a must have. I guess it can be used as a hero mount now, which is interesting. When I imagine a Warshrine I see an unholy alter being pulled by deranged sla...

Ah I understand that part of it,but it might actually be more cost effective in the long run as less models=less cash.

What were you thinking background wise?
Never watched Game of thrones haha

Bone coloured armor looks very good on Chaos warriors, depending on what God if any your army is slanted towards.

I usually have an idea background wise how I want my army to feel, puts an image in my mind.

I'll stand by my initial thoughts on the models,Chariot looks good, really like the Chaos Lord and the Dragon Ogres.

Personally feel that they ruined the Warshrine

I usually basecoat white and then use a black wash over it,makes it come out a little bit darker/grimier and gives a really nice initial shading

Any other thoughts on the subject?

I've recently wondered about the Orcs of the Southlands recently, perhaps that is where the next great WAAAGGH will come from? Through Araby and across the sea into Tilea and Estalia?
