the problem with wood elves is that the best way to play them isnt very fun for your opponent...

vamps...interesting. they have lost alot from 7th edition, so possibly need a new edition, but i actually think they are now well balanced.

hmm, I think with its D6 wounds now, the winning factor in favour of the dwarf cannon is this: its ability to take RUNES. Runes are fully sick.

funny you should say that Mr seb, I vote for Mr Seb for his continued discussion in tactics, as well as following his brettonian conversion. honourable mention to Steam, and Sigmar even though he cant win.

i see hell cannon is taken...so... i will go with the organ gun. when playing dwarves in castle formation, there is nothing better than forcing the enemy into range with loads of cannon and quarreller fire, and then blasting those heavily armoured troops or knights away with a couple of organ guns. ...

with the seeming imminent release of necrons, and some good consistent releases for beasts, orcs, tomb kings, and OK, plus storm of magic, when and who can we expect for next new army book for fantasy? i gotta admit im out of the loop in this issue...

lol jetsam. funny as. once happened to a friend of mine who, when he was about 14, decided to paint his goblins purple. didnt turn out too good.

this pink, on the other hand, is very fitting of the character

dwarfs have definitely gained i feel. war machines have gained alot, especially cannons for obvious reasons. i disagree that dwarfs need a centrepiece when they have that much potential for eliminating them. and besides, i would usually consider a key unit as a centre line, not a monster. and dwarve...

@ Sigmar yeah i will give the empire unit a run this week, and try it against both the other two. the detachment and warrior priest will make it interesting, as they both bring more choice into the combat...so that will partly be influenced by strategy, more so than the bloodletters against the grav...

i dont think it is broken, just a necassary perk of the empire that separrates them from the other armies. plus if you do that, you have less room for potent spellcasters of your own, or hard hitting generals.
