| Thanks for the write up mate always fun to read about other players tournament experiences - I have to agree with Sigmar for someone not to have the rulebook is just not on and frankly stinks at an organised event 1000pts makes it really tricky to build an army but I like your list... very surprised... |

| I take swordmasters in units of 7-8 deployed in a single rank without command group. Basic deployment puts the SM behind my Spear unit (6 or 7 across) and my Phoenix Guard and advance them forward as one block. | Maximum AS of a Lord w. Shieldbearers is 1+ due to rules governing use of Shieldbearers - but you can make that rerollable w. RO Resistance and give him a 4+ WS with MR Spite if you want to go that way. And you can also beef it up further by limiting attacks on him to S5 (can't remember rune off top... |

| CHaos Warriors are pretty nasty - but honestly as a Dwarf player I dont fear them at all. In any straight unit vs. unit fight involving the only infantry units I take Longbeards & Hammerers vs. Chaos Warriors I will win every time. Why?
