Hey guys thought I might try and be useful to you guys and start a Background help thread.

How it works is if any of you guys need some help with background fluff,large or small I'd be glad to help.

So who's the first victim?

Also I'll use this as a place to post my army fluff,for some of my various armies.

Yes there is something I'm wondering about: Who and where are the halflings?

In the 7th ed rulebook page 125:
"...Finally the Old Ones created the Halflings and the Ogres..."

but no more mention of them! Are they in any official or BL fluff?

The Halflings hang out in the Moot located in between Averland and Stirland I believe,they've gained their independence and have a Elector Count (Hisme Stoutheart) who is eligible to be the Emporer (Fat chance).

They and the Ogre's were together back in the time before the Great Maw hit the planet causing the Ogre's to go on a freak out session which there still in.

@STEAM The problem is those two races would never fight together,actually the Dark Elves have benn raiding Lustria for hundreds of years.

If you need more info feel free to ask,I've got a fair amount of info about Halfings as I own both the Empire and Ogre Kingdoms books,which have the most info on Halflings in them.

Any Background about him (Which would be in the Dark Elf And High Elf books) is canon and as such is basically untouchable from a background creation point of view.

ah okay. I'm still kinda new to wh fantasy fluff. I've only read the four Time of Legends books, DE + TK dexes, the 7th ed rulebook and bits and pieces off of Lexicanum . So I know much more about the Empire in Sigmar's days than the current one hehe.

Maybe you could recommend a BL book with lots of info about the current Empire? I'll check out the Empire and Ogre dexes

Well I love the Gotrek and Felix books,and they give you a preety good representation of current times Empire,also they have a good bit of focus on Kislev and the defense of Praag in this most recent Chaos Invasion.

Also they have Skaven,and Dwarfs and are made of awesome,as you can probably tell I'm a fan.


@STEAM Any preferences? It might take a couple days but I can certainly give you a good army background,feel free to pm me with any ideas that you want incorporated into it.

I haven't really thought of much (not a suprise) about a Dwarf Fluff. I basicly need a fluff for Dwarf Thane in the upcoming Skaven Campaign at my local shop. Nothing I want really incorperated, and it doesn't have to be long, just make him have a sad and battle hardened lifestyle. Any pointers, tips, or ideas? Thanks!

Perhaps have him lose his Hold to Skaven,his clan slain,but he lacks the courage to become a Slayer,so he sets off on his own into the tunnels,for years he sets ambushes and slays many of the vile Ratmen.

The Skaven finally chase him out of the tunnels to the land above,and he finds out his Hold has been retaken by Dwarfs of the Iron Axe Clan (Rangers maybe,I made it up) he stays above ground for many years gathering his strength and soldiers before leading an expedition back into the tunnels below,bent on vengeance.
