*sigh* the joys of getting married and having kids affects so many of us....

Games I used to love playing until recently
Sid Meirs Gettysburg (still best wargame I have played)
Close Combat Series - especially no III the Russian Front
Civ II & IV
Total War Series: Shogun & Rome, not so much Medieval
Talonsofts Battleground series: Antietam, Gettysburg, Bull Run, Waterloo etc
Talonsofts Campaign Series: West Front, East Front 2, Rising Sun
Fallout 1 & 2
Panzer General 2
Warcraft 1 & 2
Starcraft
Heroes of Might and Magic 3-5

And if we go back even further in time to my old Commodore 64 & IBM PC2 days

Leisure suit Larry 1-5
Hero Quest 1-4
Space Quest
Lords of Midnight
Doomdarks Revenge
Germany 1985
Zork 1 & 2

I am currently playing Aion(MMORPG) and with that being £8.99 a Month sub I can't really play anything else except COD4 on my Xbox when I get bored of leveling.

Although I am waiting for Guild Wars 2!

Ok, I just went on my normal game site and I found this game. Its creepy! You pick a number (e.g. 32). Then add those two digits together (e.g. 3+2=5). Next, subtract your number from the original (32-5=27). Next, look at the chart to the right and find your final numbers sign (look for 27's sign). Finally click the blue button and 9 times out of 10 it guesses the right sign.

Heres the link

It's not magic, it's to do with the fact that everything comes out as a multiple of 3 or something and all the signs are along a long of multiples if you look at the full chart. We had one go round at work a while back and we sat down and deconstructed it hehe. Maths ftw

of all of you guys I am amazed that no one here plays Lord of the Rings Online - In my opinion it is FAR more fun than WOW and this is also coming from a guy you just got plain tired of Guild Wars-I played the first 3 and it started to get very repetitive-Granted I still play both on occasion but its nowhere near as much as I'm on LOTRO.

Anyone played anything from the Baldur's Gate series? Baldur's Gate 2, Evil Genius and Total War:M2 my favorite games. Maniac Mansion, Zak Mckrakken and Curse of Monkey Island all were great as well.

My friend was such a Bladurs Gate fan he played it 3 times ! I tried Neverwinter Nights customisation and made up a very small adventure which was fun.

Some of the adventure games got just a bit too big for me (ie they took too long to complete or get anywhere near completing).

I would still like to play Oblivion on the XBox 360.

I used to love playing the original Roller Coaster Tycoon when it first came, and the original Sim City. Dam good games. Theme Hospital was a favourite of mine, and I loved Dark Omen when I could play it. Shame it only worked on Windows 95 or 98. :(
