I'm looking to start making a decent ammount of terrain for Warhammer. One of the things I want to make is a large Graveyard. Does anyone have some tips or tricks for making gothic style finces? I've seen some pre-built fences that might work, but I would much rather make the fences myself. Any help is welcome.

Toothpicks!!!!

You think I just, but toothpicks work quite well for fences. You use your razor knife to cut some in half (or the ends off) and glue them together to form your pillars of the fence.

Place more halfs of toothpicks to make the horizontal bars and your good to go! I've found that placing a single 1'' wide strip to glue the fence to works well (cardboard or plasticard works for this) and making sections so you can vary the sizes of your fence.

You then prime-black and then you can either leave as is or simply drybrush a metallic color to give it the necessary effect your looking for.

Hope that helps!

When I made my Graveyard, I used match sticks for the fence. I cut them to slightly different lengths so when glues together it looks rickety. I left an opening for the entrance to the graveyard.

Used Grave stones that came with my skeleton warriors set.
Used brown flock for infront of the graves so they look "dug"
Green flock in other places.

Path was painted codex gray.

Tooth pics is always a great way or what i like for Gothic fences is twigs just go outside and find some dry dead small twigs gives a VER REAL appearance and requires no painting ...
