So who are you? Take one number that will say what warhammer general are you.
1-starter
2-nob
3-normal player
4-perfect
5-master
6-prince
7-king
8-god
9-I am the best player in the world and no one will defeat me.

I am number 2 or 3, I don’t now many rules but I don’t lose so much games.

I'm probably a 3. I know all the rules, but I seem to fail almost every game I play, if you look at my record in my signature

depends on the context. in our own gaming group, I would definitely rate higher than average, as there is one guy who is probably better than me and 7 part or full time players who are worse (2 of whom have played 3 games or less, one of whom is 5 games or so). So in the context of the group, probably a point either way from a 7.

In a larger context, against the more general Warhammer world I would probably be noticeably worse as I USUALLY (last Saturday's power-gamer moment I am embarrassed about aside) play a relaxed, deliberately sub-optimal strategy, so probably a 4 or at best a 4.

then there is the third level; strategy. With a background as a state-champion level chess player, honors society historian with specialty in study of wars, and better than average grasp of statistical principles, I can discuss theory on a much higher level than I would bother to play, so I am back to a 7+.

I think I'll give myself a 2. But with those brief moments of perfection (Or just dumb luck) where I would count myself as a 9.

I have to say I am a 6 or 7. There is always someone better. I welcome every challenge, and fear no opponent. If I loose I take it as an opportunity to learn from someone better, and refine my tactics. I admit I am very competitive in Warhammer. Even read The Art of War to improve my game.

Unfortunately my dice don't always love me. So no matter how good the plan. It doesn't survive rolling all ones.
