So is anyone picking up a copy of Planet Strike?

I will be getting mine this Monday along with an Imperial Bastion. That I am going to corrupt to Chaos. I already had a chance to look at a store copy, and I am excited to try some of the missions/strategems.

Maybe... really, maybe...

Not sure about this thing, althouhg I might give it a try. But I still think this will be kind of weird.

I'm more keen on going with Planetary Empires (if only I could find somebody to play it with)

And have you checked out Spear of Sicarius? Jogging 1255.50$ Canadian! They're crazy!

Yeah I know prices over at GW are starting to get up there. But they are still no where as bad as some of the other major miniature companies. I forget the name of the company, but they are selling a 40mm mini that costs $90. Talking about a rip. The Spear isn't a good value, but its not a bad one either.

Most of there blisters on the other hand are a horrible value. Obliterators $25, as an example.

As for Planet Strike it is a decent expansion for 40k, and is compatible with Apocalypse and Cities of Death. So I am planning on having some great narrative campaigns with it. Granted the tourney player will find the expansion a complete waste. The Terrain is of great value as well, except for the Chaos Bastion. That one is a lemon.

I will also be picking up Planetary Empires, and mixing in my Mighty Empire tiles with it to make a huge campaign map.

Not a good year for Codex releases unless your Imperial, but there has been alot of terrain, and supplement releases which is adding alot to the hobby.

Got the book and read it, must say that it seems like a fun take on 40k.

Got my copy yesterday. Its a very good book. Will make for alot of fun missions. I also picked up the Imperial Bastion. For 30 bucks its an awesome piece of terrain. Will probably buy 1 or 2 more once I get caught up on other projects.
