Combined unit charge and unit potence

Hello all,

If a 5 UP unit flanks, it nullify rows on units.
But if two charriots (4 UP) flank a unit, are the UP combined or are count separately?

I cannot find in book something that clarify it to me.

I think the actual unit size must have a unit strength of 5 or more. The two chariots would have individual unit strengths of 4 each.

In this case I don't think the enemy would lose their rank bonus.

Can anyone confirm for sure ?

Agreed sigmar, if the chariots were joined in same unit (i think some can) then they cancel. But if the chariots are two separate units, then no
