What happend in a multiple unit pile up of CC, when units start to die off, resulting in some of the units nolonger beeing in bas2base?

What about about in this example, what if unit D echarges in this existing CC and eliminates unit B? Does it overrun into C, then work out this CC, or do we wait until A and C fights to resolve CC? and if so what happends to D?
Unit A & Unit D are part of red team,
UNit B & Unit C are part of green team.

This is one combat, so evne if you do the attacks of B and D and those of A that are in base to base contact, the combat won't be finished till C and those of A in base to base have done their attacks too. So even if D destroy B, they won't overun as far as I'm aware.

I may be wrong. I'm not exactly the most knowledgable person on the rules.

So if D Charges in and kills B? what then?

Does A fight C?
if so and they remaind locked in CC, what happends to D seeing as he is not in contact with anything?

See, I disagree with you Orcy. Since that is one whole combat, a unit can't be allowed to fight twice in a single combat. If they overun into a completely seperate combat, then fair enough, they get to fight if it hasn't been fought yet.

If D kills B, you still have to work out A and Cs allocated attacks before you can work out combat resolution, and as far as I'm aware, that includes overuns.
