Warhammer Fantasy Battle Reporter Forum

I am thinking of starting a campaign for a couple of guys that I play Fantasy Battles with. Any tips or suggestions?

I've been a storyteller for one game or another for about 20 years now. I only have two pieces of advice.

1. Dont script out the entire story, just figure out a few of the major points you want to hit and let the story tell itself. Players will always do unexpected things, so its always easier to let them do what they want (Within reason) and simply give them a nudge once in a while to keep the story going where you want.

2. You are trying to do two things with your friends. The first is to have fun, the second is to tell a story. Dont let the dice or rules get in the way of that goal.

Guardian, Thanks for the pointers. I ran some D&D like 10 years ago, so I am familiar with GMing to some degree.
