Warhammer Fantasy Battle Reporter Forum

This is something I've been thinking about and I figured I would take a moment to guage peoples interest.

What would everyone think about doing a "Live" roleplay chat using the chat feature here on the forum? Since it would be almost impossible to get everyone together to play, we wouldnt be actually playing the game during this session. Instead it would be a chance for people to talk about the roleplay, ask the storyteller questions, brag about their characters, say what they like or dont like about different storylines, or anything else that comes to mind.

Post here if you are interested! If we can get enough interest, we'll try to find a time when everyone can attend!

Hehe.... I don't think anyone would like to accidently stumble into our chats when nobody was around....

But yes, great idea. I would love to join.

Well, that makes 3 of us. Once we reach 5, we'll try to set a time & date. Fair enough?

While I'm at it. What time would be good for everyone? I'm thinking it would work best if we do it in the evening on either a Friday or Saturday? Maybe about 8pm Central Time (US & Canada)?

Yea I'm usally around at 7 Mountain time.

Fridays and Saturdays at 9:00 PM Eastern time..... good for me!

Sounds like finding a time wont be a problem! Now all we need to do is get a few more people lined up join in. I think I'll get the information to Sigmar so he can advertise things for us. Hopefully that will bring in a few more people who want to join. It might even convince a few lurkers to join up so they can join in!

Ok, I sent a little message off to Sigmar so we can get the ball rolling there. Anyone else who wants to announce their attendance is welcome to do so. Also, I would love to hear people's ideas for discussion topics!

Ummm, discussion topics.....hmmmmm. Maybe....darn. I have no idea. Well I can probably discuss Marcus with you? Or would that be more of a PM type thing?

The Roleplay Discussion will be everyone's chance to give their opinion on how things are going, what they like or dont like. Their thoughts on the verious storylines (Roulette, Mouth of Fire, Dwarf RPG.) Or bring up anything else "Roleplay" related.

I actually figure I will start the discussion with a short piece about what I had oroginally planned for the Roulette RPG and how very, very different from that it has turned out. Along with that I would probably give a short history of the events in Roulette for anyone who might want to do a little catching up (Gives me a great excuse to update the timeline again.)

+1 Reputaion to anyone who puts together a Time Zone chart showing the time the chat would be taking place in each zone. This would help people plan for when they would need to arrive.
