new Battle Reporter forum style required !! :(

Guys, all of the freeforum phpBB2 versions are being updated to phpBB3 over the next week. Unfortunately the GuildWarsTree style we use (ie. the green/yellow colours and images at the top of the page, are not available in phpBB3).

I asked freeforums for confirmation:- here's their reply...

To start with all forums will be defaulted to a silver style; light blues and silver grey background. Then we will have to choose a new style between ourselves. Once we're upgraded I'll post pics of some of the suitable styles for us to choose from and we'll have a vote.

Don't be too suprised if you visit and the forum looks completely different !

Note: we won't lose any content at all, it's just the appearance that will be affected.

Anyway, I have no idea what's happening with this change. It was supposed to be made ages ago but I have heard nothing.

I guess I should get in touch with Freeforums. to be frank though, I'd sooner they left it as it is now we have a format we all like.

I'll update you again as soon as I find out anything.

Well I have an idea. Maybe on the corners wee should place a high and a dark elves guy? In the middle no symbols just a classical WARHAMMER.

I'm afraid we're a bit at the mercy of the styles available in the new phpBB3 forum.

I haven't heard anything from freeforums recently, I'll try getting in touch again and/or searching their support to see what's happening with the upgrade.

I haven't heard anything recently from freeforums. I don't know if they've abandoned this upgrade or if it's just on hold. I'll message them and see what I can find out.
